About
Hi, I'm Melissa.
I'm an educator, curriculum writer, and mom who believes some of the richest learning happens when children are given beautiful things to explore and plenty of room to wonder.
For more than a decade, I've worked alongside children, families, and educators in special education, literacy, curriculum development, and educational leadership. Those experiences have shaped the way I think about learning: children don't all need the same path, the same pace, or the same way into an idea.
Guide & Grow is where those pieces come together. It's a place for thoughtful learning resources, beautiful family experiences, and educational support rooted in curiosity, connection, and an understanding of how differently children grow.
At home, some of our favorite learning begins with a stack of books, an interesting question, or something my own children suddenly can't stop wondering about. The Family Book Bundles grew from that same idea: learning doesn't always need to become a lesson. Sometimes we simply need a beautiful place to begin.

As a curriculum writer for Meadowlark Learning, I help develop creative, developmentally thoughtful curriculum that builds strong academic foundations while leaving plenty of room for curiosity and meaningful learning.
Through Guide & Grow, I also offer curriculum writing and review, educational resource development, differentiation and accessibility support, and educational consulting for schools, curriculum companies, and other education-focused organizations.
